This children play structure and chicken-coop utilizes repurposed structures and materials with improvised construction techniques to create social connection spaces of contemporary expression and sustainable place-making. The MESH Design Build team comprised of MESH employees, foster youth, architecture students, and practicing professionals trained an underserved population in construction techniques, while introducing dialogues between design-build, social impact, and craft in architecture.
